Fantastically good Georgetown location. Near everything. Huge, elegant rooms. Cheerful staff.
We've always had a front to street room before. The one this time, however, looked out to a brick wall only a few feet away. Pretty depressing - unless you kept the windows drawn. Complementary breakfast also a bit high on stodgy muffins.

The excellent and friendly staff. They were all most helpful. A great place to stay!
There was nothing I didn't like but I wish it had an exercise room/

Location
Check in staff possessed no warmth. Complementary breakfast was a buffet that had to be brought to your room. The hotel is without any character and resembles a up scale motel in it's design and layout.

Fantastic location, great room and very comfortable bed. Odd breakfast arrangements added to overall charm of the place.
Reception staff weren't very friendly.

Excellent location, perfect for kids, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!
Parking garage too small to accommodate an SUV; however nearby lot within walking distance.

The location is great.
The only weak point at hotel Monticello is that there is no place to take breakfast and you have to take your food into the bedroom.

Nice and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great neighborhood (canal, restaurants, shops, charming houses...). Yummy cakes for breakfast!
We went twice and got a smaller suite the second time.

nice small hotel, large beautiful rooms (stayed in a suit), nice bath acsessories (L'Occitane), very quiet in the room, staff was friendly, city-tour-bus stop was very close
no breakfast room, had to take food to our room. Breakfast was quite poor - bakery, fruits - that's all

Great location and easy access to everything in Georgetown. Large oversized rooms with a great mix of old Georgetown & comfort.

The hotel was very, very conveniently located to Georgetown and yet quiet and even secluded. The doorman, reception and other staff were very gracious and helpful. The room was very large and a welcome change from staying in cramped quarters. There was everything a travelling guest could require - although I did not check for business services. The breakfast was adequate, although there was no place to eat the breakfast other than in the little lobby or in your room. The coffee and muffins were great ! The rooms were well furnished, albeit in a style of days gone by and some furnishings were clearly in need of an upgrade. With free wifi at this location, a real value in Georgetown !
My bath robe was worn and should have been replaced. Hopefully one day soon someone will invest in upgrading some of the furnishings, get new mattresses, and re do the bathrooms, all of which while adequate, could be made more luxurious.
